Three Lochs Run Route

The shortest route but absolutely sensational and one that gives you a little of everything. You will also take in St. Mary’s Loch, Talla Linnfoots Loch as well as Meggethead – which was used in World War II as a training ground for the “Dam Busters” (Bouncing Bomb) and a hidden gem.

Do not leave Scotland without doing this route.

1.3 miles	Lochhouse Farm Retreat Centre Great secure parking. Perfectly located in the beautiful Galloway countryside that surrounds both Moffat and Beattock.

There are NO fuel stations on this route, so fill up before you leave Moffat and you will be ok.

Things To Do & See On The Route

- Grey Mares Tail – a beautiful water fall about 8 miles from Moffat.
- At the top of Talla Linnfoots - A view over the loch to remember forever.
- St Mary's Loch.
- View point at Meggethead
